We were excited to collaborate with Greenpeace Indonesia by organising a beginner’s coaster upcycling workshop that encourages creativity, resourcefulness, inventiveness, community and sharing. Its purpose is to encourage us to reduce shopping for new things by sharing, caring, transforming and repairing what we own – while keeping it fun, beautiful and forward thinking.
Ms Minjeong Cha wrote, “I do love your business model that impacts people’s life. Hope for all the great things with your beautiful work, and wish my article could be a bridge that make you better known in Korea.”
Thank you, Ms Minjeong, for appreciating our effort to empower by upcycling.
In support of WRI Indonesia’s sustainability initiatives.
WRI Indonesia had invited us to share our aesthetic upcycling journey during their November’s staff meeting, especially to discuss the process of upcycling post-event banners. We discussed storage, how to differentiate different quality and how to use them for different application.
We use banners in the construction of many of our bags. When used as inner linings, they add form and structure to our products. We also do not shy away from using banners on the bags’ exteriors, inventively mixing them with other fabrics and applying different techniques to vary texture.
